Hydraulic cylinders

In order to be able to develop industrial cylinders that work smoothly under the most prohibitive conditions, the only way forward is a high-quality design.
At CAMI Solution, we rely on suppliers who are able to manufacture industrial hydraulic cylinders built according to ISO standards, capable of working in the harshest conditions and meeting global safety standards. We install on site or directly supply the most reliable hydraulic cylinders, optimised in terms of materials and performance: we install on site or directly supply the most reliable hydraulic cylinders, optimised in terms of materials and performance.

WHAT ARE HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS
A classic hydraulic linear actuator is the cylinder that is moved by hydraulic pressure. This is the “mobile” part of the hydraulic system, the part where the movement takes place through the force generated by the hydraulic fluid.
The flow of the fluid inside the cylinder will move the piston: the oil pressure multiplied by the application surface will generate the force applied by the same.
With the same applied pressure, a cylinder with a larger or smaller bore (i.e. internal diameter), for the applied surface area, will generate a greater or lesser force.
HOW THEY ARE MADE?
Hydraulic cylinders are made up of two elements: an empty cylindrical body, inside which a piston (or rod) moves. The movement is generated by a fluid present inside the cylinder (almost always hydraulic oil) which produces a pressure on the piston which generates its movement.
WHAT ARE THEY FOR
Even in the case of cylinders, there are many applications. It is usually used for linear actuations, and for cases with large forces in the field: lifting (even of buildings) or crushing are the most typical.
But depending on the type of cylinder, it is possible to find them applied in many sectors, some of which are listed below.
TYPES
- WELDED TYPE CYLINDERS
- CYLINDERS WITH SCREWED HEADS
- ISO 6020/2 AND 6022 STANDARD CYLINDERS
- TELESCOPIC CYLINDERS
