WHAT ARE HYDRAULIC MINI POWER UNITS?
Like hydraulic power packs, also the mini power packs are Hydraulic Power Units, which are used to transform the electrical energy into mechanical energy.
They too are part of the hydraulic systems where in principle the force is transmitted by means of a fluid contained in a tank. The fluid is sucked in by a pump and sent through the distribution and adjustment organs to activate the actuator to perform a certain work.
Unlike power packs and hydraulic power packs, mini power packs are used in situations where space is particularly limited and in which the technical design requirements do not allow the use of traditional power packs.
The mini power packs stand out for their marked versatility and flexibility: the modular system with a single central body allows to combine the need for customized design, without renouncing the high-level performance.
HOW ARE THEY MADE?
Like the hydraulic power pack, the mini power pack is also a truly autonomous system and therefore includes the elements for the transformation of electrical energy into hydraulics, i.e. motor, tank, fluid and pump, plus various accessories.
In addition to this relief and directional valves, with relative flow regulators, allow the distribution of hydraulic energy.
Finally, it is possible to find hydraulic cylinders or motors that allow the transformation of hydraulic energy into mechanical energy.
WHAT ARE THEY FOR
Thanks to their compactness and versatility, the mini hydraulic power packs are extremely versatile and easy to be assembled. They can find applications in the mobile sector such as in vehicles for agricultural handling, special vehicles for lifting where, thanks to specially designed and manufactured hydraulic blocks, they allow operation without electrical voltage.
